We're coming to the UK....

Jules and I will be visiting the UK for 8 days from Thursday 21st December. We decided to apply for a visitors visa for Jules again as our circumstances have changed so much since our last application (refusal!). The British High Commission here in Wellington have given Jules the green light for travel and have removed all those nasty black marks from her file!

Plan is to see and catch up with as many people as possible ahead of our return flight to NZ via Sydney to spend New Years with my brother and possibly Jules' friend Lise :0)

Some recent pics

Wanted to post a few photo's up to our blog from our first few weeks in New Zealand. Here's 3 photo's from a couple of weekends with friends and family..

Julia's Dad celebrated his 80th Birthday this month in Ohope, Bay of Plenty. Big family occasion (with a quiet game or two of golf on the side). We also had Ashleigh's christening in Whakatane so all in all a fun and busy weekend! Rink pictured here in his new Lazy Boy chair - a present from all the brothers and sisters..

Photo of Me with Jules' new cousin Ashleigh. Daughter of Brendon & Allison. We've been living with Julia's sister and brother in law since we arrived in Wellington - thanks guys for putting us up these past couple of months!

Our first week back in New Zealand! We spent a week in Auckland catching up with my mate Joey and Jules' mate Lise. Thanks guys for looking after us.. First pint of Guinness in a long time :0)

Busy week for Jules. She's landed her first job back in Wellington! Jules now works for the Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority (EECA). EECA works to implement New Zealand Government strategies for energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy in both the private and public sectors. New house!

Fist blog from us! We've now moved to Wellington and have found a place to live. Our new home is at the bottom of Aro Valley just a few minutes walk to the city centre. Look us up when you are in town!
